The Elysian Guest House makes it home in the beautiful Faubourg Marigny neighborhood on Elysian Fields Avenue, "fields of heaven." The Marigny is located only five short blocks from the French Quarter. Locals and return visitors know the Marigny for its reputation for great restaurants, nightclubs, and entertainment. Additionally our neighborhood boasts many antique and art shops and most homes in the area were built in the early to mid 1800's and the h o m e designs are true treasures of New Orleans.http://www.marigny.org/

If you fly into New Orleans commercially, you will land at Louis Armstrong International Airport, approximately 15 miles from our guest house. Call United Cabs at 504-522-9771 once off the plane and they will assign and direct you to one of their taxi. United knows the Marigny and French Quarter areas, airport cabs are not helpful with visitor questions.

By Cab: Cab rates are $29 for two people and $10 per passenger extra for 3 or more passengers. Queuing for cabs is directly outside the baggage claim area on the lower level. We highly recommend United Cabs @ 504-522-9771.
